Located in Scotland, my work is inspired by the rugged landscapes and natural beauty that surround me. When I spend time in the hills I imagine the ancient forests that used to cover the landscape, watch the way light filters through a forest, and observe the textures and shapes of weather-worn stone and wood. This connection to nature fuels my passion as a craftsperson. When I return to the workshop, I bring with me the influence from these wild places, translating the beauty of nature into furniture that feels alive and rooted in the world around us.
